Here are a few characteristics for a student who succeeds in online education:
- You are a strong writer - Online courses tend to focus on writing for assignments
- You are self-motivated - Online courses are "asynchronous," or no set time to log in to the class
- You like to participate - Online courses have discussion boards and students will take part of these discussions
- You have good Time Management - You should be able to dedicate 6-10 hours a week per course to be successful
