In our online class, the students will have opportunities to show their skills. There are various ways to lead in our classroom. Students can earn badges for accomplishing certain tasks, work on filling their passports with stamps, and a chance to be on the Leader Board.
Students can earn badges in Moodle for accomplishing certain tasks. Want to earn "Rock Star"? Then you need to get an 85% or better on all of your quizzes. Looking to be the "Tech Guru" in class? Then show your stuff with creating 2 slide presentations for your assignments. Be sure to check back on the Badges on our Moodle classroom for more information and what badges you can earn.
Since we will be traveling through history during the school year, there are different "stamps" you can earn for your online passport. Some of the stamps will even match up with the different badges that you earn. When your passport is full, be prepared to gain the benefits!
How well are you doing in class? Well enough to be at the top of the Leader Board?! Earning the most points possible will get you there! Make it a competition with your friends and see who is on top the longest. Be in the Top Ten and get the "Hot Shot" badge!

Everyone can be a winner in class, as long as you apply yourself! Effort plays a large part in succeeding in class.
As Winston Churchill stated, "Continuous Effort, not strength or intelligence, is the key to unlocking our potential."
